A late pardon

Irish media is reporting that a man hanged for the brutal murder of a young mother of seven is to recieve a pardon - 74 years after his execution.
Local farmer Harry Gleeson found Mary McCarthy's body in a field. She had been shot in the face, twice.
According to the report, Mary was known about town as Foxy Moll. She had flaming red hair and what used to be known as a 'reputation.'
Reminds me a little of Louisa Collins - except of course it was Louisa who was hanged on a circumstantial case.
